Intensive driving courses in Norwich
Your lessons condensed into days or weeks instead of months, and planned around your test date. Manual or automatic, one-to-one, with pick-up included.
How an intensive course works
Tell us how much driving you have done and, if you have one, your test date. We recommend a course length, then book your lessons close together so nothing is forgotten in between. Every course includes:
- Planned around your test date
- A full mock test
- Our car for your test
Book your test first, then your course
Since 12 May 2026, only you can book your practical driving test, and you need to pass your theory test before you can book it. Many learners book their test, then plan an intensive course around the date. Tell us your test date when you enquire and we will plan backwards from it.
Book your test as soon as you are able to, as dates can be weeks or months away. We will share tips on when and how often to check for earlier dates. You can only change a booking twice, so check your course dates work before you move it.
Which course length is right?
It depends on how much you have driven already. As a guide:
- 10 hours (£490): nearly test-ready, or retaking soon
- 20 hours (£900): a good few lessons already behind you
- 30 hours (£1,320): only a handful of lessons so far
Clear prices, no surprises
One price for manual and automatic, with pick-up and drop-off included. There’s nothing to pay when you enquire.

What our learners say
Our instructors have decades of teaching experience between them. Here’s what some of our recent reviews say.
“Passed my test today in Norwich. Shout out to my amazing instructor Adnan. Thank you for being so kind and patient whilst also pushing me. Clear instructions and feedback and very good at breaking down things which I found challenging whilst at the same time pointing out my successes. Thanks once again!”
“I would highly recommend Adnan as he was extremely calm, patient, and made me feel very comfortable driving. This built my confidence massively and ensured I felt prepared going into my driving test.”
“I was a little nervous about driving… until I met my instructor, Adnan. Adnan made driving feel like something to enjoy, and taught me impeccably well. His teaching was clear, concise and made learning an enjoyable experience for me, and above all Adnan was an extremely kind person who I am grateful to have been taught by.”
“Absolutely incredible from start to finish! I learnt in Norwich with Adnan and he was incredible! So so helpful and taught me everything I needed to know to get a first time pass! I had my week intensive then 2 lessons before I was ready so it was a quick turnaround from knowing nothing to everything! I had never driven before!”

Ask on WhatsAppCan a complete beginner do an intensive course?
Yes, but it is a lot to take in at once. Most beginners do best with a lesson or two first, so we can recommend the right number of hours rather than guess. Some then choose the 30-hour course; others mix weekly lessons with an intensive block before their test.
Do I need to pass my theory test first?
You need to pass your theory test before you can book your practical test. You can start lessons without it, but if you want an intensive course timed to a test date, get the theory test done first.
How much does an intensive driving course cost?
10 hours: £490. 20 hours: £900. 30 hours: £1,320. Manual and automatic cost the same, and pick-up and drop-off are included. Your DVSA test fee is paid separately.
Can you book my driving test for me?
Not any more. Since 12 May 2026, DVSA rules say only you can book, change or cancel your car driving test, and cancellation-finder apps are no longer allowed.
We still help at every step: we’ll tell you honestly when you’re ready to book, sit with you while you book on GOV.UK, show you how to add our instructor reference so the date works for your lessons, and share tips on when and how often to check for earlier tests. You can only change a booking twice, so it pays to get it right first time.
